I spent many of my formative years -- like much of G4's viewership, I suspect -- pumping quarters into arcade games. Everything from Space Invaders and Pac-Man to Heavy Barrel, Cyberball, Dragon's Lair... Oh, and Donkey Kong, whether it was the greasy machine at a local pizza place or the knock-off Crazy Kong in my dentist's office. There were days I longed for a way to spend the rest of my life playing those games. " title="'The King of Kong' pushes the right buttons" />

The problem with remaking science fiction movies is that science and fiction have both moved forward along with the rest of the world. As such, The Andromeda Strain may have been intense and frightening in the late 1960s. However, that story today? We've seen Outbreak. " title="Review: The Andromeda Strain" />

Let's be honest: The idea of a Knight Rider sequel is usually followed by an eye-roll. Just look at the failed Bionic Woman reboot, saved solely by Battlestar Galactica actor Katee Sackhoff. Knight Rider actually has a worse pedigree (witness the TV movies and Team Knight Rider) and, like Galactica, has been the subject of a tug-of-war.
